The Yukon Territory of Canada is a still and haunting place, almost empty of people, but full of the wind and sun riding the spines of the mountains, and the eddies and bends of the rivers. Blowing snows and fragrant spruce, gold flecks and water, all mix with the spirits of 10,000 years of aboriginal peoples and 150 years of fur traders and gold propectors to give this land its unique soul. Wander in your mind north of 60 degrees latitude, and let me share this mystical place with you.
Picture the ever-changing sky, the spruce and aspen tree'd mountains, and the icy and gold-washed rivers that are the historic arteries of the Yukon. For 10,000 years and more, these waters have pumped life and peoples from northern British Columbia, through the Yukon, to the Alaska border, and beyond... all the way to the Bering Sea.

Congratulations on starting your blog! I might make a copy of my blog over here, It'd probably the same exact stuff as my xanga, but It might be worth it to be in the same blog community as my Daddy. ^_^
My last few blogger blogs kinda fell through, so we shall see. :-)
